In our experience with raising litters, we have tried a few different things to ensure our puppy families get a fair experience when choosing a puppy. It can get VERY confusing when several people start piling up on a waitlist.  We have decided that the easiest way to make sure puppies are chosen in a fair order is to have a master waitlist for each litter. To be on the master waitlist, we need to know these people are VERY sure they want a puppy, therefore, we ask for a deposit to reserve. For each litter, we allow a certain number of females and males to be reserved with deposits.......because we really have no way of knowing how many mama will have. Families get put on the waitlist in order that deposits are received. When puppies are born, we go down our master waitlist and give them the option of staying on that waitlist to choose a puppy, or waiting until the next litter.  We do ask that our families choose within a year of reserving though. A $300 NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee is required to get on the list for a puppy (unless other amount is specified on Waitlist page).  The remaining balance is due at puppy pick up. 

 

Puppies will be chosen by photos, videos, and FaceTime at 4-5 weeks of age.  Puppies are placed in order of deposit received, HOWEVER WE DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO HOLD CERTAIN PUPPIES BACK FOR BREEDER HOMES.  

 

Families also have the option of being on a "tentative waitlist" that does not require a deposit.......but you will not be guaranteed a puppy from the litter and it will not hold you a picking order.  We do not start going down the tentative waitlist until we have finished talking to families on our master list.
